WRITER'S STATEMENT

Corruption within the American justice system has reached alarming levels. An increasing number of legal scholars are bending the rules to serve their own interests. America needs honest scholars who follow the United States Constitution as well as the Canon Code of Ethics and Professional Rules of Conduct.

The people depend on it, but state judicial oversight committees remain disturbingly complacent, turning a blind eye to significant cases of misconduct. They often issue reprimands instead of disbarments for serious violators.

This negligence has inflicted severe harm on countless families, with some suffering irreversible damage. Such tragic cases have been well-documented by the media. For instance, between 2003 and 2008, two Pennsylvania judges devastated the lives of over 2,500 children in the famous "Kids for Cash" scandal. The justice system allowed this to go on for 5 years, even though numerous complaints were received. The judges were eventually found guilty of selling children into privately owned juvenile detention facilities, in exchange for kickbacks from the facility owners.

Hopefully, the President will bring about change.

There are literally thousands of valid complaints dismissed annually in America. Broken Gavel - Inspired by a True Story, will provide people with the knowledge and inspiration needed to fight against corruption, and entertain them at the same time.
